The STEAM Teachers’ Training Program is an aphasic process through which the teacher develops the ability to independently design and create STEAM activities and implement them in the everyday classroom.
The STEAM Teacher Training program not just prepares the eager learners to become trainers in the future but also enables them to become progressive and innovative thinkers as they progress into designing STEAM Content and DIY projects.
Within this phase, teachers will be introduced to what the different essentials within the curriculum, various examples of curricula across the globe as well as be taught how to place STEAM strategically within the curriculum.
This phase focuses on introducing the latest pedagogies especially those which features incorporate cooperative learning methods. The phase combines instructional planning, content development and lesson planning as well.
Teachers will be assigned to micro-teaching sessions in order to enable them to practice their learned skills.
Teachers will have to design a learning module by integrating phases I – III and implement the design in their actual classrooms, assessment of teachers’ knowledge and skill will take place through the capstone project.
